Teresa Kietlinski joined Prospect Agency in 2009 after thirteen happy years of working in the publishing industry where she designed and art directed hundreds of children's books of all sizes and shapes. Now, she is now very excited to be on the other side of the fence, developing picture books with young authors and illustrators. Teresa reads five picture books a day—with no exceptions—and knows there is no greater joy then reading with her family. She is inspired by all that is wonderful, wacky and witty around her. Teresa has a particular fondness for silly picture books that make her laugh out loud

Susan Hawk is excited to join the faculty of Kidlit Writing School, fresh off her participation in Kidlit Summer School. As an agent, Susan Hawk represents authors who write for children of all ages, babies to teenage. Before agenting, Susan spent over fifteen years in children's book marketing at Penguin, Henry Holt and North-South Books. While at Penguin, Susan also worked for a time in Dutton Editorial, acquiring select picture book and YA projects for that list. Her favorite part of that time was reading new submissions -- finding something wonderful and imagining where it can go was thrilling to her then and remains so now.
